That's fair. I won't deny that emotion is trumping logic a little bit on OGS but I feel like he's showing united fans that they are right to believe what they want to believe about him so far, there will of course as you say be tougher tests but after seven years of stodgy uninspiring football, to see him winning games and the team playing like a well oiled attacking machine is a pleasure to watch

No doubt they're playing well but in truth when you're not fighting for a league title it's fairly easy to play without pressure.

If United do qualify for the CL next season and go on another splurge in the transfer market you will soon see what this team is really made of, merely challenging to get into the top 4 won't be deemed acceptable and increased expectations will crank up the pressure put on the manager and players.

I don't see anyone getting ahead of themselves and making Moleman-esque predictions or statements, all I see is posters declaring how good the team are playing at the moment and how enjoyable it is, they're playing the best football in England at the moment and it's refreshing after years of shyte to watch United play consistently exciting attacking football!

Hmmm 🤔

So you disagree that they are playing the best football in England right now?

Man City beat Liverpool 4-0, Newcastle and Burnley 5-0.
They will also win the FA cup as they are playing the best football in England.

Don’t forget the Chelsea and Southampton results Wink

And another 5-0 win last night. That’s 3 wins by 5 goals since the return and big wins v Liverpool 4-0 and Arsenal 3-0.

Losing away to Chelsea by a single goal is no shame.
They battered Saints tho. Their keeper was MOTM. They had the same number of shots on target as Lesta when they beat them 9-0. It was just one of those days. They did enough to win by 3/4 goals.

United have historically struggled to capitalise on mistakes made by teams directly above them. Must win tonight

Don't know how Romeu got away without a red for that challenge on Greenwood in the first half

Balls. Southampton deserved their draw.

Fair play to Obafemi though.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Poor second half showing from United
Southampton were very good though last 20 mins some nice football

Thought Solskjaers subs were poor. McTominay and James didn’t work

Bad day for them in the chase for a top 4 finish

Can't argue with that result, good performance from Southampton. With the fixtures left, they should still be getting top 4, but they'd want to be playing much better than that.

Pogba and Fernandes were fairly poor. Romeu and Ward-Prowse dominated the midfield for most of the game.

In saying that, Ryan Bertrand was the worst player on the pitch by a mile. Gave the ball away constantly.

Whats the story with retroactive punishment now with VAR around? Like, could Romeu be banned afterwards, or does the fact that everything is monitored now mean that because he wasn't sent off during the game, nothing can happen after?

I would say AWB was the worst player on the pitch.

Really poor substitutions from Ole.

A lot of players chose today to have bad games. Fernandes, AWB, Greenwood all offered zero. The run of unchanged teams may be catching up. Extraordinarily unfortunate to be 11 v 10 at the end, in an ideal world the man advantage would've been reversed for the Romeu stamp. Still, united look a better team than Leicester and Chelsea with easier fixtures. Wouldn't be too worried yet

Very poor from United. Attitude was not right during the game bar the 5-10 minute spell where they got their goals.

Naming the same team for the 5th game in a row was a huge factor behind the tiredness in my opinion. You could see some lads were just never in the game.

Conceded two terrible goals aswell. A great chance to get into 3rd tonight and blew it. Simply not good enough.

Leicester v Man U last game of the season will probably decide who gets 4th.

Lesta have made this really difficult for themselves.
They have SU, Spurs and Man U last 3 games.

Saw the highlights of the Bournemouth v Leicester game last night - my god that was a spectacular implosion! Bournemouth as usual doing very little then completely out of the blue Schmeichel boots the ball off his own defender's arse from a goal kick before letting a piddler trickle across the line to go 2-1 down - then Soyuncu completely loses it and gets sent off for booting the Bournemouth lad in the goal LOL If that was in some random second division Eastern European league you'd be screaming match fixing!

Can’t see Chelsea beating Liverpool! 3rd should be the aim.

Think some United fans were underestimating Southampton. This is type of fixture that suits us. We are good at stifling the bigger teams and struggle to break down teams that sit back and defend against us. 5 points from City H, Everton A and United away is good going, especially for a team with little to play for

Bertrand defended very well tbf to him but going forward was a bit wasteful. Very impressed with Martial. Looks so much stronger and more interested that he was. He's starting to come good 3 years later than expected but next season could be massive for him

I thought United would be safe enough with you not being able to go to the game and pox it LOL
