Unlucky on Everton there with the disallowed winner.

It wasnt unlucky. I hate VAR but that one wasnt even debatable. Clearly the correct decision.p

I thought it was initially wrongly disallowed as he didn't touch the ball but can see he was in the line of sight albeit being in a sitting position.

United's best point of the season imo.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

With the amount of corners United conceded I could see Everton getting a winner sooner or later.

It's a point gained rather two conceded given United's catastrophic start to the match.

It wasn't a bad point on the back of a Europa League fixture. Chelsea and Spurs also dropped points so not too much damage done in regards to 4th spot.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

De Gea is already going to his right, he can see the ball, the deflection beats him whether Sigurdsson is there or not. Think Everton were unlucky

I think they need to make that rule black and white.
If a player is in the 6 yard box he is interfering with play as he will be in the direct line of sight or so close that the goalkeeper is made aware of him.

As you say the deflection is what caught De Gea out so under the current rules it should have stood IMO.

But as VAR is 100% correct (Planning)

That's irrelevant in fairness. Sigurdsson is right in his eye line and, not only that, but he actually moves his legs at the last moment to make sure the ball gets through. It was a very straightforward decision - never a goal.

Agreed. The question should be wtf is Sigurdsson doing still sitting there and the game going on around him?
Some people just deserve a slap

Page 17 of this.

I'm not sure either applies here because the ball was going in anyway.

Well deserved and that should have been a penalty for Fred.

VAR is nonsense.

Evened out
Was never a free which led to the goal and Fred should have had a penalty

VAR still getting 99.8763628% of decisions correct though
