Once again, I do think there are enough positive signs to persevere with Ole. His record in big games shows he can get the team playing effectively. To beat the sh*t teams is an easier conundrum to solve, probably with new players, than to be poor in big games

Manchester United have taken 14/18 points against the top 6 sides but only 10/30 points against the rest. Ole likes to play on the counter attack and that’s why we do so well against the so called bigger sides. It’s when teams play defensive against Manchester United problems arise. In defense of ole Manchester United have had injury problems and yesterday bar pogba it was probably Manchester United strongest side. That side hasn’t played a lot of games this season. Ole showed he can go on a run when he was interim manager. The next 4 games are very winnable. Chelsea have had their ole at the wheel new manager bounce with Lampard and I think they’re form is now going. Top 4 is definitely back on.

He apparently brought Keane is to give a peptalk before the city game at the training ground.  He has also brought in other ex players.

Lack of leadership if you have to bring in people to do what you are supposed to be doing.  Nice guy but not cut out for the job imo or any premier league job.

That's not to say he cant be doing good things behind the scenes to get the club in order such as recruitment or whatever. He just doesn't have that manager vibe off him at all.

I'd tend to agree with that, would make an excellent coach
2 good results against Spurs and City, but doesn't paper over the other issues of this season so far.

To be doing well in the bigger games and poorly against the lower teams in the table is an issue of approach and personnel. In the bigger games, they've been able to get quick ball out to Rashford, Martial and James, typically against a defence pushing high and therefore particularly vulnerable to players like these.

To beat other teams, they need to be more comfortable on the front foot with the majority of possession. It's why the signing of Bruno Fernandes should have been a priority. United still need another attacker and a versatile midfielder.

5 for the season now for Greenwood, although his first tonight should have been ruled out. He really does look like he could be a special player.

Lampard is holding up his end of the bet with the implosion at Bournemouth yesterday. What an opportunity to close the gap on top 4 today. I see Everton have switched to a back 5 so this could be a tight affair.

Woeful goalkeeping from De Gea. Too worried he'd get hit by the Everton player rather than getting to the ball.

Even before the goal United look sluggish. Could see them dropping points today and as usual this season, it's one-step forward and two steps back.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

It’s a blatant foul on De Gea!

It's a foul but De Gea should still have gotten to that ball. There'll always be arms raised in those challenges.

That was no foul. Barely touched him. How many times have people complained for donkeys years that goalies get fouls for anything. The goal stood cause there was nothing in it.

De Gea was weak.
Nothing wrong with that goal.

Surprise Jose kept this going. It must be a thing you have to do.
