Not Gary Neville anyway. That's for sure

We all benefit from hindsight, but that's not the point.

When you have CEO's, Directors of Football, Recruitment Specialists and Managers etc all being paid humungous amounts, you should expect a tad more foresight from them when they're lashing out millions on signings like Sanchez or Pogba.

Sanchez had downed tools for the best part of 12 months by the time he arrived at United. His attitude on the pitch for Arsenal was deplorable at times in his last year there. When you get into a rut like that, and more importantly that long a rut, there's a serious chance the player might not be tearing it up when he arrives at his new club.

City dodged a bullet with Sanchez. It would have taken little foresight to see the potential dangers around signing Sanchez also btw. Just basic scouting of the player about to be signed would have given off plenty of warnings. Of course on ybig, stating the obvious like that makes you a wum.

Looks like Greenwood and Fred will start tonight.

Would like to see United make a decent attempt for this cup as their league form can't be depended on for getting into the champions league places. Arsenal and Chelsea have blown hot and cold themselves so far so I don't see them pulling away too much. 3 horse race for 4th spot.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Wouldn't mind seeing Gomes get some game time too. Unless Pogba is playing well, there is so little creativity from midfield, it couldn't hurt to give him a chance.

Fred offers more than matic in midfield. Manchester United should change the whole 11 tonight. Separate squad for Europa League and League Cup . Strongest 11 for the League and maybe FA Cup later rounds if youngsters pull through early rounds

Given that the Europa League may be the best route into the Champions League, it might not be wise to play anything other than the strongest team. They might currently be 4/1 to win it and 6/4 to make the top four but those odds could easily be reversed after Christmas.

Yeah, by Xmas, they could be 46/1 for top four.

FA Cup and League cup should be the least priority after the league and EL. I'd like to see a few of the young players given a chance in the EL but United to still put out a strong side. Hopefully get qualified from the group after the first 4 games if possible.

Starting line up is out, plenty of changes:
Romero, Dalot, Jones, Tuanzebe, Rojo, Matic, Fred, Chong, Gomes, Greenwood, Rashford

The Chelsea pre schoolers and Banter FC (AKA Arsenal) wouldn’t pull away Stevie Wonder in a 100 meter sprint!

I’m sorry but in the age of fan channels and Twitter accounts Arsenal fans take the biscuit.
