Never made it to the top 4 teams (at the time) despite being in the England team.

What a stupid post LOL

So your Shearer's, Van Nistelrooy's, Henry's* etc. All known for their height and crossing the ball play rather than the 20-30 goals a season you reckon?

*Didn't Henry score 1 headed goal ever during his time in England?

Whoosh.... talk about missing the point.

I was stating that defoe is a great goalscorer but he really doesnt do much else. He cant play out wide, not great at holding the ball up, not a great passer of the ball etc
He is a bit one dimensional like lukaku. Scores a lot of goals but doesnt offer much else.

Shearer and Henry had better all round game.
Nobody mentioned RVN.

Not missing the point at all.

Defoe is a poacher and a very good one at it, his whole job is to be inside the penalty box. And for the record, he did play out wide at Sunderland, was during Dick Advocaat's escape season, one game he even played at left back so there you go LOL

He scored 25 league goals in 16/17 and 6 already this season.
I'm sure his stats are still ridiculous for a young buck!

He wont be 25 till May next year.
Has 24 goals for his country so far. Their all time record is 30 so he is likely to smash this.

Cannot fookin bear when pundits and now ybig posters pluralize individual players/clubs.

There was only one each of these celebrated strikers Coyne.

Just reminds me of Michael Owen talking about 'your Barcelonas, your Chelseas, your Uniteds' etc etc
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Another routine 4-0 win for united but they're just delaying the enividible of when they get torn apart by city, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs. Top of the league 19 points from a possible 21, it's all a lie.

I know it is.
But you seem more concerned with pandering to Hans rather then enjoying (another) good win for United.

I wouldn't call it pandering more like enjoying pointing out the glaringly obvious anti united agenda he spouts in here.

Cue Hans coming on to say how he's already said he expected United to do well in their first 7 games blah blah blah

Or Moleman for the negative type of football they've been playing, just the 20 goals in 5 games.

Followed by 4 paragraphs of something something about they're not even top 4 team etc.

Tbh as happy as I am with the start and the players attitude under Mourinho, United's biggest weakness is in defence strangely enough for Mourinho.

Even in the big wins they've given up at least 2/3 really good chances against teams when there may have only been a goal in it. The good thing is that they're punishing teams for not taking those chances.

Against the better teams in the Premiership and Europe I think United's defence is going to cost them. If they avoid any big heavyweights they could go get to QFs anyway in Europe.

Great win for City yesterday. I don't think United will match that result.

United should push City this season a good bit of the way at least.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.
