Rojo pictured driving to training today and told a reporter he feels ok. Would be a huge lift for United if his injury wasn't serious as himself and Bailly look very strong together.

If United team show up and play like they did v Chelsea last Sunday you would expect them to beat any of those teams but that just wont happen.

United odds on now for the trophy.

Would agree essentially with that. In terms of betting there's no value in that price for United imo. They are rightly favs with the players they have but really shouldn't be that short odds wise.

The Rojo injury becomes massive as Blind looked like a lad who had forgotten he was a professional player last night. He was all over the place 3 or 4 times.

What is the situation with Jones and Smalling? The way Mourinho talks they are almost fit, or just need to play through the pain.

Seems like Jose is trying to coax them to hurry the f**k up,play through the pain if needed.
I'd say that's why Rojo is getting games ,seems like the type who is willing to play on.Had a good season but I doubt he is anything more than squad player longterm.

CB be bought in the summer to partner Bailly.

Zlatan has been ruled out for the rest of season .No surprise really with a knee injury, seen reports he could be out for 8 months.

Last night was probably the last game he will play for United, will be 36 by the time he returns so fully expect United to buy a striker in the summer.

A few huge games for Martial and Rashford coming up now, both have to show they can step up in Zlatans absense.

Absolute hammer blow to lose Zlatan.

The one area in the pitch where United need an injury like they need a hole in the head.

Happy enough to get Celta and hope Ajax can beat Lyon but can't see it happening.

I just can't see how it'll benefit anyone by Mourinho criticizing his players and then singling out others as having the right mentality for the team publicly. He's probably making good points as opposed to blaming everyone else but this should be done behind closed doors.

Not even just in football but anyone that's ever worked for a boss that reprimands in front of other people knows you'd never forget it or have the same respect for them because you know they're capable of doing it again.

The United players in fairness are playing for him so can't fault them in that sense but it can't be a good approach Mourinho is taking imo by airing his grievances.

I didn't like him taking out his frustration regarding his media commitments with the United press officer with microphones present. He's happy to use the media for self-congratulatory agenda but doesn't want to fulfill his commitments when it doesn't suit him. You can't have it both ways.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Celta will be tough to beat at Balaidos, but away from home they really are nothing special (except for beating Shakhtar in extra time in Ukraine). On paper United should cruise through, but we all know it doesn't work like that, especially with these injuries

They have a decent record at home and usually do well in La Liga there.Took points of Real and Barca this season but they are very average.

If United keep Aspas quiet it will be half the battle,he is on fire for them.Celta have a similar problem to United they aren't scoring enough goals but they aren't solid at the back like United.

Looking grim for Zlatan , no matter who you support it's terrible to see such a brilliant entertainer injured.

Reading today that he will be out until January,at his age its difficult to see him making a comeback.Certainly dont see him playing for United again.

If he is out till January I don't think he will play for United again but don't see why he has to retire.... plenty of clubs would want him. Maybe not at the very top but he wouldn't be short of offers.

Didn't say he had to retire but I can't see him playing for United again and at near 37 when he returns he might call it a day.He finished at the top level now imo.

I'd say Jose is raging he's injured but it could be a blessing in disguise. They won't renew his contract now unless it's on a pay as you play basis. They'll make a move for Lukaka this summer now I'd say as their main striker unless Jose thinks Rashford is the man for up top

Did Jose not sell Lukaka at Chelsea?
I can see him going back to Chelsea TBH. And he said he wants champ league football which Man U may not be able to offer.
