Off with a minor looking strain after 65, played very well and kept Gordon/Apmiron quiet.
We're decent enough..

Was grand, lacking a bit of sharpness but was sound defensively and was still making good runs down the flank on the attack throughout.

If he can regain/maintain fitness he would still piss all over Doherty and is more experienced and defensively sounder than Festy at present.

If we play 3 or five at the back he could be great playing inside Festy and coaching him from that position.  With Collins and Egan/OShea as the other two centre backs.  Other option is in a four to have him as RB with Ogbene in front of him.

Yeah sure he prob had one of his best games in a Ireland shirt in that role against France only last March.

Coleman has kept a clean sheet in 7 out of his 8 appearances this season for club and country (5 starts). Only Haaland x2 has scored with him on the pitch.

We missed him badly over the last year. Keeping him in & around the squad for as long as possible is a priority,

Love Seamus, but anyone who watched that game and doesn’t think he’s passed it doesn’t have a notion.

Ah he completed a couple of passes in fairness.

Getting forward he's clearly slowed down a lot (although part of that is lack of match fitness, only played 5 or 6 games for Everton since coming back from injury).

But defensively he was excellent, as he was last March vs France.

As I said, keeping him around as long as possible, even if he's not playing, is a priority. He has a wealth of knowledge to impart to young players.

Yeah, how sh*t do you have to be to only come away from a game with an Arsenal and Man City winger in your back pocket LOL

No one thinks Coleman has the attacking legs to be a wing back anymore, but to give a faultless defensive performance like he did and still have absolute wallopers calling you finished shows the general lack of intelligence in our fan base.
