Had a lovely afternoon back in Torun yesterday - looks like they have just about recovered from 2012 ! It really is a great little city. Don't think I would have even considered Torun as a place to stay in 2012 were it not for the good folk on here - would defo have missed out. I sat down by the river in the sun and raised a glass to fallen comrades.

Must stay clear of that swanky hotel you got us a discount on - Not sure they'd be happy to see me again !!!

No real relevance to anything on here really but was doing my Barry Maguire updates for Tets' Irish abroad website when I noticed a Polish lad had hit a hat trick again VVV tonight, his name is Piotr Parzyszek, 20 years old from Torun Thumbs Up  One to keep an eye on for the future

Not belong till the epl clubs are snapping him up

This useless fact was brought to you by a subsidiary of TJ inc

The beach volleyball is back on at the moment. The sun has been shining and it's speedway season and while spending a lot of time here, I never get bored!

Oh and in Torun the locals still think Irish football fans are the best and hope to see everybody back here soon!

All the best,

Patrick

Was there last month and going over again next month. It's a special place for me (as a ginger) as I got to smash in some front doors.

Will be hoping to move over there after xmas and have a go at teaching english as the woman will be doing her masters for 2 years there.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.
