Son could have had 3 in the first half and Wilson's goal could have been ruled out for  a foul but Magic Miggy Almiron does it again - The curse of Jack Grealish lives on.

Wasn't impressed with Howe's comments last week but credit where it's due - 6 of the team starting today and for most of the season played under Steve Bruce before the takeover and he has made the team very hard to beat.

Can't see them staying in the top 4 as the squad is nowhere near as strong as the super league 6 but it sure beats the annual relegation worries !

100% top 8 I'll be happy, though a comment on twitter made me think what if we are in and around CL places come January, going to be an interesting transfer window LOL

Troassard would be a good addition !
Transfer windows for the last 14 years were filled with the hope that you didn't lose your best players and that maybe just maybe you could get someone like Danny Rose or Loic Remy on loan that could possibly help avoid relegation while any players that could possibly be signed "Just couldn't get over the line"..

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe had earlier said people should "be careful with comments and opinions" when responding to Klopp's comments.

Meanwhile in the home land this happened a few days ago, look what happens when you have comments and opinions there.

Saudi court sentenced three members of the Howeitat, a tribe forcibly ejected to make way for the $500 bn Neom megacity, to death earlier this month for resisting displacement, a UK-based rights group has reported.

Shadli, Atallah, and Ibrahim al-Howeiti were arrested in 2020 for opposing the eviction of their tribe for the project and were handed down death sentences on 2 October by Saudi Arabia's Specialised Criminal Court, according to UK-based rights group Alqst.

Agreed! Officials are making loads of errors every week even with the use of VAR.

The better team in the first half and how Varane's tackle on Wilson isn't a penalty, I'll never know

United were denied a stone wall penalty in the second half too.

Found Nick Pope time wasting strange, United were there for the taking.

Was that the one on Sancho? The only seemed to show one replay from an awful angle on it.

Overall the standard of refereeing the last few weeks have been an absolute joke

More bad news for Newcastle. Look's like the war in Yemen is now going to be an issue - It would be hilarious if the same thing that happened to Chelsea and Abramovich happens to Newcastle.

“From unanswered questions about 9/11, the brutal murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, and the exporting of extremism, to dubious jailing of peaceful dissidents and conspiring with Vladimir Putin to punish the U.S. with higher oil prices, the Saudi royal family has never been a trustworthy ally of our nation,” Durbin said. “It’s time for our foreign policy to imagine a world without this alliance with these royal backstabbers.”

Miggy seems to have taken the Grealish jibe and run with it, been superb this season.

The funny thing is since the takeover Howe has still kept the core of the group of players who were going down with Steve Bruce -

Almiron - Wilson - Murphy - Schar -  Longstaff  - Willock all started the last 2 games and Joelinton and Anderson came off the bench with Fraser ,Lewis and Lacelles still in the squad.

Eddie Howe Clap

Maybe the West will flip flop on Saudi Arabia and they'll be on the naughty step and then we will have to sanction them and their murderous war in Yemen will actually be an issue.
