Did you watch the game or just see the highlights on MOTD? MOTD didn't show the aftermatch of the foul that led to the goal, Begovic was mouthing at Taylor for a good minute or so, so Taylor decided to piss him off by winding him up that little bit extra when Cabaye was lining up the free kick. Nothing wrong with what he did. Begovic certainly looked the bigger fool when Cabaye scored.

True! there was a lot going on between those 2 that you would not have seen if you only watched MOTD,when Sissokho was fouled for the free kick, Taylor wanted to get the ball asap, But suddenly ,, Begovic developed a case of the Swansea ball boy syndrome! when Taylor tried to get it off him , he acted like he had been shot, then there was a lot of pushing and shoving until Cabaye got the ball, as Stoke were building their wall, Taylor was moving in front of Begovic and im sure they had words..seems Taylor had the last laugh!!

Huge 3 points today, a decent team performance as well. Newcastle had all the posession but a few big players had an off day. Sissoko got on the ball a lot but was sloppy with his passing, Cabaye was quiet but anytime he got on the ball he used it well - brilliant free kick at a crucial time of the game as well! A slice of luck with the timing of the goal in the 93rd minute but thats the bit of luck Newcastle & especially Cisse haven't been getting this season. Tiote was actually playing well until his moment of madness for the Stoke penalty. Delighted Newcastle dogged Stoke in the last minute, they really are a horrible team to watch & their 90 minutes of negative football is just ridiculous. Tony Penis was sick as a pig in his interview after the game.
Great way to finish the week & hopefully a huge crowd on Thursday night will have a positive effect on the team. Onwards & upwards

Cabaye got a real beauty . Looking forward to seeing it again .

It was a peach of a goal alright,Stoke must be the most frustrating team i have ever seen,Sissohko had a decent game but his final ball was poor, inspired substitution by Pards....bringing on Marveaux  who created the winner,Haidara gives us another option too, his  bursts down the wing and left footed crosses compared to Santon who is all right foot and cuts inside most of the time which can be quite predictable.

Cisse you Beauty! Delighted!!! Very poor game overall, didnt really get going until Stokes goal, have absolutely no complaints about the penalty, silly tackle from Tiote and respect to Walters for having the nerve to take it, Cabayes free kick was a bit special, thought Taylors dancing to put Begovic off was hilarious , this game lacked real creativity and was crying out for a Ben Arfa, hopefully now we can push up the table and can have a real go at Anzi on Thursday... nice to be back above the scum too!
