we can't be hoping to play someone who hasn't played all season. Bit of an injury crisis in midfield for these games. Could be Meyler and Whealan CM by the looks of things atm

I see Koeman has more or less told McCarthy to pull out of the squad. In fairness he's dead right,McCarthy barely trained and once again MON looks to bring him in regardless of how fit he is.
Like McCarthy was called up for the last round of games vs Georgia and Serbia too even though he hadn't trained once with Everton this season ffs |

It's a bit hard to swallow anything Koeman says or does and the responsibility for McCarthy's constant injuries lie more at Everton's door than ours. I don't think it helps calling him up though as it seems to be done to spite Koeman (not that the fooker doesn't deserve it) but there doesn't seem to be much of a thaw in the relations.
