I think it was a tactic from MON, he trained the past two days Wales would of been preparing for McCarthy. Clever from MON if you ask me, of course Koeman may of rung up also.

According to an Everton fan Everton should sue the FAI over McCarthy's injury and O'Neill is a dickhead

In fairness we have enough f**kwits posting on here already without regurgitating rubbish from f**kwits elsewhere on the internet.

Publicly calling out a player is absolutely shameful behaviour from Koeman.
He is a decent manager but it is completely out of order to call out a player in public. It's one of the base rules of management, ffs. You can blame outsiders, referees, yourself, the opposition, whoever, but you can't call out your own players. "James wasn't fit. I understand his eagerness to play for his country but it wasn't the right decision to select him for this game. Obviously, any player is going to want to play in the biggest games but sometimes managers need to protect their own players." That's a hit at O'Neill but not at McCarthy. A statement more like that would have been appropriate. Edited by SuperDave84 - 31 Mar 2017 at 3:18pm |

OK Mr Koeman, so would you mind telling us why he keeps picking up this hamstring injury then?
Really bad form from him and O'Neill will surely come back with the perfect reply. Asshole.

Don't know why Koeman is so concerned about McCarthy. It is not as if he plays him that much anyway.

Yes indeed, he has been ruled out many times due to injury because of club duty. If it was the case that McCarthy kept getting injured playing for Ireland but not for Everton, Koeman would definitely have a point.
