I would say it’s the opposite of his career. In any game he can look very good and then very bad. He just doesn’t have enough consistency.

Now never at a lot of games Jeff played but he did seems to hide away from the ball . Now on the other hand saw most of his games in the last years and he would seems to stay away from the ball at all times . Most know what i think of him i would like to ask Newcastle fans what they think of hin come Christmasd time .

Aul Jeff getting Shane Duffy levels of abuse from his own fans on Twitter. In their defence, can anyone breakdown in detail what justifies his presence in any given team? What are the pros that outweigh the cons that have him consistently selected?
He's impossible to pigeon hole the man. What's his purpose?

I mean he must do something that the lay people of the football world can't see, but how in the hell does he earn his wages? Fair play to him, I hope he's investing it well.

He was shocking tonight. His last touch was kicking the ball against his own teammate

So where does this leave us exactly?
Our best goalkeeper isn't playing. Our best defender is being ripped apart by Celtic fans Our best midfielder is being ripped apart by Newcastle fans We haven't got a best forward option. And yet some on here will still fancy our chances against England, Wales and see us winning against Bulgaria

Arguably, our best centre half is in totally abysmal form and looks like a pub player A regular starting midfielder is in poor form since the opening game of the season Lets not blame the fans here. Also, Hendrick was never anything like our best midfielder I get your point though, things are dismal at the minute.

I don't think any one is claiming that Duffy is our best defender or that Hendrick is our best midfielder. Nor have I seen anyone suggesting anything about fancying our chances against England. We won't beat Wales and we should beat Bulgaria. |

Shambles. Kenny should be picking Bazunu ahead of the Travers and Kelleher, and actually playing him as well. Ruslan Neshcheret is 18 and was in goal for Dynamo Kyiv against Barcelona and played well too from what I remember. |

Posted this in February in the Burnley thread:
He has played better for us under Kenny than he did in the 3 years previous. But he still doesn't offer enough to warrant a starting place ahead of our other midfielders. I'm still not sure why he's playing regularly in the PL. Fair play to him.

I wouldn't be against Danny Rogers being called up. Kilmarnock isn't exactly high level but it's someone who's playing regularly to keep the #1 on his toes imo.
