Will be interesting to see how this pans out and how long it drags on for  ,a court case and making headlines (Wrong Ones )hanging over his head does not auger well for his chances, would it be seen as a distraction ? on the other hand it doesnt seem to have harmed Anto Stokes (Is his case done )?
although for him hes has just  made the 40 , Hendrick  would be considered a Squad player (22 )that travel to France.Bad form IF! this is a story at all ,or someone trying to make a quick few bob.

Yes and 2 out of 10 before that.. which is shocking for a player that starts for us and is struggling to play at a championship side. So hopefully he cements his position now.

Derby have been on a dreadful run and ran the risk of slipping right away from the automatic and playoff places under him, but a bit of a panic decision none the less

Yeah, the BBC pundits said much the same. Savage said that Derby had spent big money on some players who aren't performing but feel they need to keep playing them, at Hendrick's expense, to justify the hefty fees.

Hendrick did very well when he came on last night. Always looking to get on the ball and do something. Commentator mentioned that he was the only player to play every minute of Ireland's qualifiers this season!

Agree with Newt. Derby have spent serious money for a Championship side B.Johnson-6m and Butterfield-4m both CMs and seems like there is pressure to play the big signings irrespective of form.

I really like him and he offers a runner in midfield compared to Whelan and McCarthy.

Love Hendrick and he's been absolutely brilliant for us since he came in to the setup, but if he Cant get regular game time by the end of the season I definitely wouldn't have him starting in France. 3rd in the pecking order behind McLean and Arter at the moment IMO.
