Wouldn't know a lot about him, I'd nearly prefer to stick with the 2 youngsters.
Matip is very injury prone and will likely to be partnered by Fabinhio in the bigger games at least. Salah should only be missing for the 1 game I think. |

I hope someone close to John Barnes will have a word with him and get him to take a wee break from twitter.
For the past several weeks he's spent almost the entirety of every day furiously arguing with hundreds of people on it, quite a few of whom unfortunately were racist ****s intent on winding him up. He's absolutely correct that we have to smash racism and get more black coaches and managers into the game. However, I'm not sure that arguing back and forth with idiots on twitter is the most effective way of going about it. That can't be good for one's mental health.

I had Salah as my captain so wasn’t happy he didn’t start today.
2 goals and an assist since he came on. Liverpool will be top at Xmas and at the end of the season. |

Even with all the injuries they have suffered they are still top. I can see them pulling away from the rest now in the new year. Hopefully they meet Bayern in the champions league as they are the 2 best teams in Europe at the moment.

When Van Dyke returns he may not even be the best centre half at the club. If Klopp keeps Fabinhio in there when he returns that will be some centre half pairing

Hendo starting at CB today. Klopp obviously doesn’t trust the young CB’s who played recently.
They need to get one/two in during January transfer window. Even someone like K Long would do a job for them. There is no point splashing out huge money on a CB when they have 3 currently injured. |
