Liverpool FC thread

Most Liverpool fans would have gladly taken a 3 point lead at this time, in December, let alone the start of the season, not talking shiedt about "choking". 

It’s too early to be talking about choking but they are letting City back into it.

After Newcastle beat City that was a massive opportunity to pull away from them. Since then it’s 2 pts from 6.

They have a lot of games coming up so need to turn it around quickly.

Bournemouth H

Bayern H (midweek)

Man U A

Watford H (midweek)

Everton A

City look the better side in general, but those 3 defeats against Newcastle, Leicester and Palace are almost unexplainable how their standard dropped that much. 

Liverpool's only hope is if city continue to have freak bad performances and Liverpool need to get bit of form together, otherwise we could really drop off

There hasn't been a single point this season where I've said that it's impossible for City to win the league afaik. I've given my opinion that they won't win it, as I believe Liverpool have the ability to keep grinding out results that City don't have this season. I've most definitely said countless times that it was impossible for the likes of Arsenal or United to win the league which it has been all along. I don't think I've said once that it's impossible for City to win it, again feel free to correct me if I have done.

What I have been saying is the overreaction to bad results Liverpool get are comically over the top. While City can experience some terrible losses and it seems to be a case of 'its still just a matter of how many points City win it by'. Nothing at all, all season long, has pointed to City winning a comfortable title. They are less consistent, losing 4 games already, and are now chasing Liverpool and hanging on by the skin of their teeth.

Liverpool are 3 points ahead with 13 games to go. You would swear the way people go on that Liverpool were now 10 plus points off the top of the table. It is hilarious and farcical in equal measures to watch.

Liverpool are now 2nd favs for the title, again a massive overreaction. They should be somewhere between 1/2 and 1/3 imo. Who am I to judge though, I've thought they've been massively overpriced for the past 9 months to win the PL this season.

Because I've said that a Liverpool team on top of the table, 3 points clear with 13 games to go will win the league? Because I've said since last summer that I believe that this Liverpool team will win the league? Because I've said since last summer that the best 3 sides in the PL are Liverpool City and Spurs, and injuries etc aside these should be the top 3 this season? Because I said that I expected there to be little between Liverpool and City come May, but I expect Liverpool to win the PL title.

It's a funny one really. If anyone was coming on here calling others thinks, you'd think they'd aim for the people speaking about Liverpool as if they are have a meltdown of a season and not one where they are 3 points ahead with just 13 games to play, having lost just 1 game all season.

Liverpool are now boring as f**k as a football team at times. They will keep grinding, keep chugging away getting points (in the past 2 games where they've imploded according to most they've lost a 1 point advantage to City). Eventually Liverpool will hit another 7/8 game run where their form is really good and it carry them to the title. 

If none of the above hasn't happened, or doesn't happen in future, feel free to come back and call me a thick then. As it stands though, what exactly is your reasoning behind such a comment?

Who would you play up front then if Salah goes back to the wing and Firmino is dropped SD?

If I was Klopp i'd revert back to the front 3 in the positions they played last season.
