This is where Trap should be going on the form of a player no matter what position on the field he is competing for. I personally don't care about any players history in the team what so ever. If you have a dip in form than its someone elses turn who is playing their sox off at that moment. A little competition never hurt anyone and finally we are starting to have real options for places on the team sheet now.

Bring on June. Can't wait
because that has worked so well for england, and it would really help 'the system' by chopping and changing all the time. there should be a balance imo.

Won the peno in Tallinn. He wins vital free kicks when brought on and as said above will be essential in June. Its Lawrence and Coleman that I think should be the 1s to make way for McClean.

I think Hunt seems to always play well for his country.he s got a great delivery in him.he only comes on for 20 minutes and he gets an awful lot of frees for us in dangerous positions which we ll need because  in all honesty  we re going to be up against technically superior passing teams than us so we ll need someone who can win set pieces for us.Plus he winds up the opposition and might get them sent off as well. id personally take him.if anything id drop Doyler because whats he done in the last 3 years?

Was thinking the same really about Hunt he is on the downward slope however I would bring him. Keogh has to left behind he offers us nothing.

Love him as a winger and always puts in 100%, was even chasing the ball down in the 87th minute which shows a great attitude, just wish he could use his right foot a bit better.

I don't see this happening.
Trap will be loyal to the players who got him to the Euro's.

Also we have an abundance of players for that position.

The only realistic way I can see McClean making the squad is if there is injuries to any of the wingers.

However I do hope that Trap at least offers him an opportunity to showcase his talent.

I dont agree. You have the 3 (Duff, McGeady, Hunt) nailed on. Then it would seem to be between Lawrence and Coleman. Lawrence has barely got a look in in the last year and Coleman the same. Not sure yet whether he's fully convinced on Coleman tbh. There's a place there up for grabs which cant be said about a lot of other areas on the pitch but if he doesnt make the Czech squad he can forget it.

His work rate it great. Has some engine on him in fairness. The pitch today didn't help a player like him too much. Very aggressive and strong. Think he's doing unbelievable for himself at Sunderland so far, really taking his opportunity and can't see him being left out of the side anytime soon
