Think some of the praise is a little over the top. He played well, but he didn't have to make any saves you wouldn't have expected him to make. The one leading up to Sisto's chance was actually a poor save if anything.
We're decent enough..

Hang on a minute. The double save was quality in a game of no quality.

It was decent, but you'd have been incredibly disappointed if either of them had beaten him. The first was volley from a tight angle that came at him at a good height, the second was a scuff right down the middle. He did well, but it was hardly de Gea level heroics.
We're decent enough..

I have full confidence in him to deal with any situation. That is probably the highest praise I could offer. He has been immense for us since coming in.

He has responded very well to last season at Club level. Being dropped and sold could not have been a confidence booster, however, he has converted it into positive energy and resilience. There is no reason why were should be advocating for a change between the sticks.

Two clean sheets in a row against strong opponents away from home tells its own story.

Clean sheet against Germany, Bosnia, Italy, Wales, Austria, and Denmark is no mean feat. He has also saved us on a number of occasions with some fantastic shot stopping. To make the Irish jersey his own, in the manner he did, while facing down competition from Westwood and Elliott is impressive.

It's all relative with goalkeepers - Part of a good defense, good game last night, along with the many good games he's had for us since he became No. 1.

I rate him, never a worry when he goes for balls or someone is baring down on him. Is yet to have a real howler or throw one in.

The Dazzler - No. 1.

Atrocious goalkeeping today gifted the third goal to Derby.

He is a dodgy keeper...in the mould of David James.

Has done nothing wrong in an Ireland shirt though. Been excellent for us.
Walters coming back from an offside position but Shane Long was definitely onside- Shane Lonnggggggg.... has done it!!!!

This is the Darren Randolph thread. Why are you referencing Christie?
