It's a bit of a tricky one. It's more like a tap to Williams back than a 'headbutt' which Williams barely even seemed to notice. I'd be surprised if he got a one or two match ban because of it, even if there was a hint of aggression about it.

First angle looks fairly harmless. Second one less so. Very little actual aggression there. Thankfully Williams didn't even react.

Hopefully no suspension needed but an unbelievably stupid thing to do.

Agree it would be incredibly harsh on Brady were he to be suspended - a big "fuss over nothing" imo.

But I still suspect he may be. For if FIFA were to overlook this "headbutt" [sic], then the next time someone gets pulled up for something only a little bit more forceful/aggressive, then he would cite the Brady case.

Which is why when a ref does spot such an incident, he invariably shows the red card, even when a player merely moves his head towards an opponent, without actual contact.

Yep I agree with ya on this. As innocuous as it was, he still did it and I really fear he'll be suspended for it now

FIFA are notoriously difficult and sticklers for the rules. It was much ado about nothing but he had intent and moved his head towards the player, I will be surprised if he isn't suspended. Probably one game though.
Walters coming back from an offside position but Shane Long was definitely onside- Shane Lonnggggggg.... has done it!!!!

I'm not sure, he has been sh*te for a long time now and people keep defending him. Imagine if it was Whelan or Jeff Ermm

Cleared by FIFA. Not really a surprise given that Williams didn't even seem to be aware of the incident or that anything had happened.

Left back or a left wing back I think is his best position. I think he needs to show a bit more determination. For example, he's more talented than McClean but mccleans attitude makes him unstoppable

He is an absolutely atrocious left-back, easily his worst position. Not sure why people keep talking about him as one when he consistently puts in defensively inept performances when he plays there.
We're decent enough..

apparently Fifa and the ref only became aware of it because Sky Sports started playing slow motion replays of the so called incident after the final whistle.

Doesn't work half enough. Capable of doing a lot more. We should really be seeing more goals and assists from him. I'd say his match stats in that regard are poor enough.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Thought he was useless last night again. Set pieces very poor. Very rarely went passed the front man.

Wouldn't be the worst if he was dropped for Meyler on Tuesday and arter told push up a bit. He hasn't played well for us since the Euros and he's still living off it if you ask me.

It's a myth that he's a big player for us. I don't know is it the burden of the number 10 jersey or what but something has to change.

Thought it was his best game for us since the euros. Actually worked hard and get in plenty of decent tackles and stopped some dangerous situations. Going forward he was at least attempting to be creative didn't always work out. Hendrick was anonymous

His set pieces/delivery was poor though but did put a good shift in and worked hard

Agree on that. Much better in the open play than over recent games. But his delivery from set pieces wasn’t great again. Regularly cut off by the first man. Needs to really whip the ball in. Cannot see him getting dropped at all though.
