Really good to see him staying fit over a prolonged period of time. For
Preston - 17 starts, 3 subs, 9 full 90's (plus the 90 vs Armenia).

Penalty was a joke. Brady would have been MOTM but for Evans scoring two goals ( one from a brilliant cross from Brady). Certain starter for Ireland on current form and great to see him fit again after so many injury problems. Browne and Hendrick were decent in opposition in midfield and Seani Maguire did well when he came on. Shane Long an improvement on Andy Carroll when he got on. Preston hard to beat and in contention for the play-offs.

It shouldn't have been a penalty, but Brady was too easily beaten by the defender before that which is why we has having to challenge the player from behind. I don't think there's much between McClean and Brady really, both give us something going forward but both are defensively suspect. We need a good defensive left wing back for when we play the stronger teams in the next group, but we don't have one at the moment unfortunately.

Tbh, I had all but given up on Robbie, but what a turnaround. He has featured in all 20 of PNE's League games this season, starting 17, several as a LWB, several in CM. He has 3 assists, 3 MotM awards and a rating of 6.97 (35th best in the Division) as per Whoscored, leaving aside his penalty and assist for Ireland.
Credit where it's due, I thought his time with Ireland was up and while I dont think he has the pace to play LWB, certainly vs decent opposition, I wouldnt mind seeing him get a chance in midfield in the upcoming friendlies.

On the bench for the last month, got on today in the 80th minute and sent off for 2 yellows within 10 minutes. Will surely struggle for a squad spot!

I'd have Robbie and Ryan Manning as our LWB or LB options for the next campaign. Hopefully finds some good form for Preston now. Some goal .
