Great stuff. I'll likely be on that later so fully expect to have 30 minutes added to my journey by a confused L driver or 83 year old driver driving 20mph .

There was a yellow snow warning

When? What’s this whole “snow notoriously difficult to forecast”. What’s different about snow? Is it the freezing of the snow?

I don’t think I received any notification from RTÉ as normally I get them for any other weather warning

LOL Driving home today and saw an abandoned car stuck in the ditch outside the village where my mum lives. Meant to take a picture of it for posterity but I was already in a rush.

You’re right though. Heard that it has rained on the island of Ireland every day since last June.

Is there not a place in the West where it rains everyday? something to do with clouds/moisture coming in off the Atlantic being forced up over a mountain or something.

We have rain and thunderstorms at 3pm everyday due to the heat.  We also have a monsoon season which runs from January to December.
