April is Statistically the driest month of the year in Ireland.

I wasn't talking about the rain. I meant that I dislike this month as the clocks go forward, you hear the birds singing, it's light for most of the day, it looks like summer outside, but it's baltic.

You also have the issue that you still need the heating on, but 5 mins after it being on you're too hot.

April can be a mixed bag but it can be and has been glorious plenty of times, over Easter as well. This has been pure misery.
They finally did it man... They killed my f**kin' car...

true but its been consistently cool or colder than normal.  Normally by now we would have had a day where you could wear a t shirt.

The weather is guaranteed to be sh*t where you live. Not for me.

The only April I ever remember that we got decent weather in was during the first few months of the pandemic in 2020.

May and September are usually our decent months for sunshine I find.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

This time last year we were finished our league - and we are only getting started.

My son has played 3 league games this year. 1 in the 1st week of Sept - the second game 1st week of Dec and then last Sunday.

Absolute shambles.

I thought you were talking about 2024 but 3 games all season is a joke.

You can throw in 2 cup games too - but the NDSL is a shambles as well. It's combination of factors.

Another observation is that the South Dublin games tend to be given the go ahead more than the Northside.
