Bring back the darkness! Evenings getting a bit too long for my liking! Sending the 9 year old to bed there and he is asking "you can't be serious". In fairness to him I can see his point!

Still f**king baltic though.

Must be the coldest winter we've had.
It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

Winds from Siberia hitting Ireland and the UK I was reading.

Apparently gonna go below freezing even during the day. I’m bored of the cold weather now

this is why we need to take climate change very seriously and push ahead with our aims to reduce carbon emissions by stopping the burning of fossil fuels. We also need other countries to play their part.

So the EU voted to abolish DST.

Means in Summer it'll be dark at 9pm rather than 10pm (and bright at silly o'clock, 4am?)

Also, UK will be on different time zone, so premier league games will have different kickoff times (Saturday games would be 11:30, 2pm and 4:30pm on a Saturday)

I think they voted to no longer make it mandatory to do this - Means individual countries can decide themselves but it's not a given.

No when the clocks go forward they won't go back. It'll be the winter where it's noticeable. Darker in the morning but that bit brighter in the evening. Also still up to each country whether to actually do this or not.

We will likely keep the same as the UK.
They are our main trading partner.

Mainland Europe will stop it - the Germans are very keen on it.
