Huge effort. They came to a hault on the hour. By no way disagreeing with the tactics. But seeing Harte taking  quick kickouts, and others taking quick throw ins within seconds at this level, when 99% of teams would be trying to kill it, get their team up the pitch, fills me with both fear and admiration. The midfield must be nackered. 
You have to take your chances at this level.

Celtic had 4 or 5 good chances in the game but it was inevitable they were going to run out of steam at some point and Real were going to take over
Needed the first goal to make a game of it 

Agree on Maeda being poor technically, a workhorse who can press well 

Lacked a bit of guile up front in general that is needed at that level I thought 

All to play for against the other two teams in the group. Marian Shved got 2 for Shaktar tonight

Celtic always needed to put their chances away as RM would always take theirs.

It was a reality check for the Bhoys 

As long as Celtic can do the business against the other two teams in the group.

Going in at ht 1 nil up with something to defend gives you extra legs. Going one nil down against the European champions completely changes your mindset, and the game. 

Madrid lost to Tiraspol, Chelsea lost to Zagreb etc 

These results happen all the time and Celtic especially at home in Europe have a very long record of pulling some quality results off.

Very unlucky in that first half and the Maeda shot at the start of second half, need to take those chances at this level

Madrids all round superiority shined through in the end
Could watch Modric all day, an absolute top top baller

Any chance you can remove the flags on the Warrenpoint road or are you intending to leave them up and  going for the loyalist estate look with tattered flags on lamposts
