For such a tight pitch, and up against a physical side I thought the performance was very good. On another day Kyogo could have had 4. Created plenty of chances compared to the last time we were there.

Supposedly very interested in Glimt attacker Ola Solbakken

Maeda absolute coward....Hatate poor, bring Rogic on for him. Kyogo very busy, and looks likely to score. Taylor poor, Starfeldt has made his usual mistake and got away with it. Jota tearing tavanier to shreds. Happy enough at break.

Sevco better side early on but Celtic upped their game after the goal and should be at least two goals up.

I would have taken a draw beforehand but the later stages were a worry.
Still on the positive side six points clear and a far superior goals difference with three games to go.

Celtic have been poor the last 2 derbies. Absolutely unbelievable achievement to win this title considering where we were in September. GVB doing a good job with Rangers. He has learned a lot since the first Glasgow Derby. Rangers positional play v good, forcing turnovers. They are also very very big men and apart from CCV, Rangers won most 50 50s. Celtic are very small, tippy tippy a million miles an hour on the break, which is what we love when it works. Celtic in a great position to kick on now. A powerful midfielder needed. Full backs were poor today. Never pinned Rangers back. Could do with a better left full. A Champions league spot could be the difference between these teams the next 5 years. Be very interesting to see who Ange brings in now that it's not a complete clear out. 2 signings that go straight into the team takes this team onto another level. |
