They won the league that season. If memory serves me right, it was a 2-1 loss in Edinburgh also.

Honest mistake'd out their nut
Don’t ever expect anything off Madden. Some dodgy decisions, but we were terrible. Celtic as a team are fragile. Need a bit more muscle in the middle of the park for these games. Ange needs all the backing and support he can get. It’s a sh*te situation, but anyone who got called out in the ballot for the Dundee game next Sunday, there is a planned protest against the board on the Celtic way @1pm. I’m still waiting.

I dont buy into that we were terrible. Dominated the game but the same problems as last year reared their head, toothless in attack and conceded at a set piece.

Despite his hand in the first goal, thought Starfelt had a decent debut.

If the only reason we are playing Eddy is to put him in the shop window then his value will be noe diving. Surely Ajeti couldnt be as bad?

James McCarthy heavily linked. I have never seen the fascination with him to be honest, although if he stays fit he should be an upgrade on Soro.

I got a ticket in the ballot for Dundee. Will be interesting to see the what unfolds at the protest.

James McCarthy would definitely improve the team, he is still a Premiership player in terms of quality and the only issue with him is his injury history and managing his fitness. The squad needs a regular keeper, a couple of new full backs and strikers for starters. The good players who want away-Eddy, Christie, etc-need to go and the funds used to bring in replacements. Big rebuilding job ahead this season.

One of the best in LOI at left wing back / center half. Hate to see him go if he does . 90 minutes machine that never stops.

He was very impressive when he played for Ireland under-21s, if I recall rightly there was interest from Man. City amongst others, Bristol Rovers ( then in League One) almost signed him but he didn't want to go. Celtic need new defenders so good luck to him if he goes there.
