The Club are delighted to announce Bosun Lawal has signed for Celtic as part of our Academy, initially working with Tommy McIntyre's Celtic B side. The 18-year-old joins from English Premier League side Watford.

The Ireland Under-21s internationalist is a defender who can play in midfield, having made his debut at this level for his country following a summer training camp in Marbella.

Lawal was recently named as the Watford Academy’s Player of the Year, and joins Celtic’s B side ahead of their new campaign in the Lowland League this weekend.

Everyone at the Club wishes Bosun every success in green and white.

Very hard to be confident about tonight. One of the weakest squads in years. Starting a Champions league qualifier with Ralston is criminal when we knew we needed two new right backs as far back as February, also doesn't say much for Lee O'Connor if he can't get a game ahead of him
