A guy who struggled to make his mark at Bolton and Hibs. What the hell's he doing at a club like Celtic now that there's some genuine competition in the league?

Lennon won the treble last year and topped a strong EL group - which included beating Lazio home and away.

He has shown that he is capable of getting impressive results against the better teams in Europe, but incapable against the teams Celtic should be beating. Beating Lazio was great, but he should have already been sacked for Cluj. He got away with Copenhagen as it was in the last 16, but Ferencvaros was an abomination where he should have been sacked immediately after the game, instead he was allowed to indulge in the first of many meltdowns. That was before handing Rangers a walkover at Celtic Park or a Sparta Prague reserve side who expected a hiding before dishing one out. He has faced a reasonably strong team from Ibrox in his two spells at Celtic and his sides have collapsed spectacularly on both occasions. Ronnie Deila, a man who was also out of his depth, complained about the fitness of the team he inherited from Lennon. Every Celtic player is currently not fit enough. Duffy, who arrived with little match fitness, soon looked like a man playing through a constant hangover. Laxalt, who arrived full of beans, is now up to speed with the rest of the squad. It is really sad that it has come to this, he was probably my favourite Celtic player, but he has completely destroyed his legacy. Along with the board, they seem to be completely disconnected from the views of Celtic supporters and in some sort of bubble where they think their behaviour of f**king off to Dubai is acceptable.

He isn't a very good manager and shouldn't have been given the job, but the worst part is that he seems to think he is a great manager and seems to be blissfully unaware that he is the head clown in absolute circus. The fact that he still hasn't been sacked, despite all of those reasons, shows why he was appointed in the first place. Because unlike Rodgers, or any other decent manager, he will never criticise those above him and that's all that matters to Lawwell.
