Armstrong motm

A very odd game, 4nil doesn't reflect the game at all, it was fairly close until late on - almost the opposite to Sundays game , that actually should've finished 4nil

Gordon made 2 excellent stops that overshadowed by his now trademark kung fu kick outside the box

Sutton still destroying all in the studio too

Gordon was erratic and reckless but I don't think it was a red. The player wasn't heading toward goal, and the contact was with the side of the leg not the foot or studs.

The foul on Dembele was equally if not more of a shout for a red card - credit to the ref on the advantage too it must be said although I'm sure in hindsight Sinclair would have been happier if he had of blown for the foul!

Not sure that Celtic were lucky as much as Ross County being quiet good and both keepers making some great saves. 4-0 certainly flattered Celtic but as said above there was a big uplift in quality when Dembele and Sinclair came on.

Overall a good game and a very good week.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get me...

Griffiths was lucky to stay on too. Had a bit of a kick out at the RC defender when already on a yellow

Brown rumoured to be back in the Scotland team for the England game next month

Terrible idea, the break he has got since retiring has done him the world of good - playing some of his best football

The fixture list over the next 2 months is ridiculous and he could do with the rest

Scotland are getting beat with or without him

The temptation of hacking down and then staring at Dele Alli must be too much for Brown.

Seriously though, its a ridiculous decision on all fronts IMO. Makes a joke of the rest of the squad also.

I assume this is just paper talk, there would be no logic to it.

Unfortunately Tierney has badly injured his ankle today

No word on extent or the actual injury itself but he's ruled out of tmrw and Tuesday definitely

If this was last season then this would be a disaster as he was arguably our best player but not so much relied upon this season

Izzy , over to you lad

Tierney is also due for shoulder surgery after the sevco game at new year too so hopefully hes not ruled out until then

**Confirmed, out for 2 months with ligament damage, add that to his January surgery (which might be brought forward) it looking like a 4 month absence overall **

Top 2 clash today, away to Aberdeen 1200ko live on Sky

A win would take Celtic 10 points clear of 2nd WITH a game in hand

The win would give us some much needed breathing space over the next 2 months, crammed with fixtures - only 2 midweek breaks in November followed by 9 games in 28days in December Heavy squad rotation would surely feature heavily during this time

Arguably the worst refereeing I've seen this season

It feels much more like a derby than last Sunday, Aberdeen even singing Hun chants! Aberdeen trying much harder to press and not let Celtic build up a rhythm but Celtic have dealt with it pretty well and should have had a second from Armstrong. Bizarre that Rooney didn't start for them, Burns is useless.
