Was playing well, might struggle to get back in now.Pity I rate him highly should move on if he doesn't reclaim jersey cause he ain't a number 2.

We only signed him in the summer pal , he got his chance and took it so even though its unfortunate he's not playing today and so be it if Mignolet is between the sticks for the next couple of games! But to suggest Westwood to move on is very premature....

Gordon will be gone after this season , any club worth its salt needs two very good keepers so MON will no doubt do everything he can to keep Westwood and Mignolet at the club...

Don't think it's premature,my point is only that he doesn't need to become labeled a number 2 which with keepers to be fair can happen fairly fast.Im just looking from Ireland perspective no point in Sunderland having to good keepers if the Irish one is benched.

He was only left out because of Flu. Mignolet keeping a clean sheet against City wont help him!

Mignolet did look shaky at times in fairness, although he did make one good block against Dzeko. I do expect KW to take over again once back fit

Good shout though MON did try and sign Craig Gordon when he was Villa manager so must rate him.

Heard the other day he gave up the chance to be a copper to mind nets. Good man Keiren. Hope he gets the nod for the weekend.

Perhaps Westwood will get his chance v Stoke today given his greater physical stature than Migs.
