With 3 places on offer in a wide open enough looking race in the 6.40 I'm going to back gwafa each way. This horse was rated as high as 149 over hurdles. If he can regain some of his old form this very lightly raced horse can be bang there.

1 point each way gwafa. 16/1 pp. 6.40, 3 places.

33 points staked 33.2 returned

I'd say the ultima again. I assume Katie Walsh will not get the ride after last year.
It's not inconceivable that pat kelly could have 3 runners and 3 winners in cheltenham!

This gave the pot a nice little bump. Pity one or both couldn't get their heads in front!

I think the market is totally wrong in the 5.55 in chelmsford. It's a brutal race and I think two at bigger prices can get involved.

There is no way in hell Teds Brother is a 20/1 shot in this race. He routed a similar field 5 runs ago and has ran well enough in the mean time. The visor had been off since his last win and is back on today. Hopefully he can show that level of form again and win this one.

Arlecchinnos leap is definitely down to a winnable mark. However he has never won over this trip before but it should suit him. He's also never ran in a class 6 race before which is the main reason I'm backing him. He's off a workable mark and will be winning soon.

1 point win on Arlecchinos leap & Ted's Brother in the 5.55 Chelmsford. 10/1 and 20/1 in boyles.

35 points staked 42.2 returned.

Might not be the right section for this but according to Twitter Paddy Power are putting 10k into random accounts today. Possibly just a marketing ploy etc. Just log in every hour to check

A few that will give us a run for our money tomorrow (hopefully) Movie Legend, Banjo Girl, Potters Legend would suggest a little e.w patent, and another one that might do us an e.w favour is Ballylongford, note Ballylongford and Potters Legend are in the same race a rf./c as a small saver, all at Sandown

Lovely win last night to give the bank a nice boost. The winner was subsequently demoted to second, I watched the race about 10 times afterwards and could not believe that decision, I hope they appeal because that was a joke. Anyway, with all bookies paying first past the post and the official result we are in business.

I fancy two today.
Threediamondrings in the 4.45 lingfield. Has been dropping away in the weights and ran his best race for a while last time out when mounting his challenge he hung badly left. The return to lingfield will remove any of that trouble. He's definitely weighted to run a good race and is a nice price to boot. For all that said, the favourite who's looking for a 5 timer might be hard to beat but hopefully we can.

1 point win threediamondrings 4.45 lingfield 10/1 pp.

There's an absolute plot job in dundalk tonight. War room in the 7.00. He has been dropped 12 pounds in 4 runs and has been fancy prices for every run. His last run was very very eye catching. He was cruising but had a nice bit of work to do and Shane Foley didn't use his whip once during the race. It was a trip short of his best and he was very tenderly handled. He's now down to a mark of 51 with, I assume, the aim of trying to rattle off a few 45-65 races. Tonight's a going night and with the very capable gary halpin taking 3 pounds off in this apprentice handicap he's poised to strike. Almost to the day last year he won over course and distance off 14 pounds higher.

I can't ignore the extra place on offer with PP but this is a very confident selection by me.

2 points each way, 1 point win. War room 7.00 dundalk 7/1 pp. 4 places.

41 points staked 63.2 returned.
