Spare parts 5.55 Chelmsford. Jockey in flying form and the horse has plenty of weight in hand following today's win.

imo Spare Parts sums up a lot about horses lads it was with Charlie Hills trainer for first eleven rides and the best it done was a second! went to PS McEntee last year and from six races in two short months has since won four races one second and a third for McEntee! its a funny old game......still only 4

Horses like that can't keep winning though. Its like that horse Indian Tomahawk as well.
They seem to run every few days, or every week at the most, everytime they win they go up in the weights, so the winning life of a horse is pretty short really |

Charlie Hills couldnt get it to win in its first eleven races with all the different top jockeys on board, goes to a different yard and trainer and Bingo!

A sentiment i usually agree with. The handicapper is the handicapper for a reason so they eventually run out of winning. With that said I'm backing Indian Tomahawk tonight. He's value at 9/2. It would be a lump jump for me if he wasn't drawn so wide. He's been very unlucky in Dundalk a few times and his form over a mile with Koybig puts him well ahead of the handicapper. Formerly rated in his 80s, I'll be hoping he can get back there again! He can run well off 60 tonight if Wayne Lordan can break well and get a nice position. If that happens, he'll be travelling sweet coming around the home turn and I'd like to see one of these out battle him. I love this horse and there will be plenty more celebrations in Dundalk tonight if he can do the business 2 points win at 9/2 on Indian tomahawk in the 7.00 Dundalk with ladbrokes and boyles. 6 points staked 27.2 returned.

Alcatraz will win the 7.30 if he jumps out, problem is that he's way too short at 3/1 to be banking on him jumping out level.

Dundalk tonight I've gone for Temalek Star at 6.00 (9/2) and Indian Tomahawk at 7.00 (9/2).
Also had a little flutter on Rock on Bach in the 6.00 who was backed in from 50's to 10's in places in the past hour.

Wasn't Spare Parts just trying to beat the handicapper. Ran yesterday again before it's weight increase. Edited by rossieman - 19 Jan 2018 at 12:13pm |

And football managers have the cheek to say their players are too tired at this time of year having played too many games. Won't someone think of the likes of Spare Parts.
