Don't think I've ever been so unenthused about an upcoming World Cup.  And it's a bit strange to do the draw when you don't have a completed list of teams who will be taking part yet.  They could have at least waited until all the play-offs wenre done in June.

Yeah it's an odd one, in a sense there was only going to be 2 teams unknown at the time which would have been the two intercontinental playoffs, and they would both have been pot 4 teams.

I suppose its being done now to give that extra few months for organisers to sort things out logistics wise.
We had the same for the Euros last time, the 4 playoff teams were TBC

Yep very similar looking at teams qualified so far (adding in that US and Mexico will most likely qualify bar a major collapse) the pots will be as follows

Pot 1
Qatar,Belgium,Brazil,France,Argentina,England,Spain,Portugal

Pot 2.
Denmark,Netherlands,Germany,Mexico.USA,Switzerland,Croatia,Uruguay

Pot 3.
Senegal,Iran,Japan,Morocco,Serbia,Poland,Korea,Canada

Pot 4.
Tunisia,Cameroon,Ecuador,Saudi Arabia,Ghana, Australia / UAE or Peru, Solomon Islands/New Zealand or Costa Rica ,Wales or Scotland/Ukraine

This is why it's so ridiculous to be doing the draw when you don't know all the finalists.  If Scotland or Ukraine were definitely in the finals, they'd surely be in a higher pot than pot 4?

Just looking Wales are ranked 20th so would have been Pot 3 as would Ukraine (27th) who are ranked ahead of Scotland who are 40th would be in pot 4.

Now I'm not sure if the rankings will be updated with the last round of qualifiers results but here is latest rankings

Could we see Ronaldo when he's 41 playing his 6th world cupe? I wouldn't put it past him even as a sub.

Do you think its anyway possible FIFA and Qatar will see sense and say look this isnt realistic?Confused Can you imagine England fans in Qatar? LOL

Well it looks like it's happening.

How have the workers died during construction of the stadiums? Lack of health and safety,  overworked, living conditions?

6k is a scary number of deaths.

The 6,000 deaths commonly quoted is not the amount of people that have died building the stadiums, it's the number of migrant workers that have died in Qatar since they were announced as hosts in 2010.

Still a horrific number though.
