Not saying Dunnes arent greedy bastards, but retailers are often given special prices on clearance products or if they bulk buy. During this period products like handwash and the likes are in serious demand and many manufacturers can be sold out of them and the retailers have to find these goods elsewhere at usually a higher price that is passed on to the customer.
