hats off to him. epitomizing the change in style under SK given he was one that was looked as probably the least likely to be able to play this way. credit to him for bouncing back, what a player

Seems very unlikely he could be dropped given how well he's playing, but worth keeping an eye on with Lamptey and Webster back in training and pushing for game time. Essentially this means they now have 5, Webster, Dunk, Burn, Duffy and Veltman competing for 3 spots in the starting XI

I assume it's tactical. Brighton playing back 4? |

Nope, dropped, it's a 352! Not good with Webster not even in the team. I'm guessing he wants mobility rather than height, disappointing all th same as he's been excellent!

To be fair, man City play with the ball on the floor and move it quickly. This is not duffys best defensive attribute.
Might very well be tactical as hes been very good this season

It might look great he's not playing by the end of this. Getting the run around and very vunreable on the counter.

Suddenly very porous defensively without Duffy. Should have stuck with their best team against opposition as good as this.

It's good management by Potter. Keep Duffy out of the team today so his confidence isn't annihilated by Qatar Inc.

One of those games where you look better if you're not actually playing.

Wasnt great tonight, played a short ball back to keeper for the first goal who panic cleared it and conceded a goal as a result and was completely asleep for the 2nd goal.

I taught he was very solid tonight. Ball back to the keeper was easy but the keeper messed it up. To say he was asleep for the second is baffling to say the least.

Yeah, the first goal was entirely the goalie's fault. Duffy's ball was fine and the goalie played it short to a player who was in no position to accept the ball. Overall Duffy was solid enough.

On second viewing, had to blame him for the first alright. Keeper had more time than I thought to clear that properly. Second goal though, was 100% caught ball watching and pointing. 1:10 mark |

What are U talking about?
The 2nd goal was a tragic backpass. Nothing to do with Duffy bar him being one of every defender blindsighted by it. |
