Just watched the 3rd series of STID, it was OK. Very difficult to replicate the chaotic drama of the previous series. The one constant over the 3 series was the fans - players, coaches and managers come and go but fans always there through thick and mainly thin. Poignant and sad at the end for the lad who passed away but at least he went knowing he'd seen them win at Wembley after all the years of heartache. Sunderland fans did themselves proud and should be rightly proud of that although seeing how genuine they are I get the sense they'd be slighty embarrassed to hear that.

We didn't play well first half and deserved to be behind.

Much better second half and deserved a point.

Possible peno at the end but Ballard makes too much of it.

Five defeats on the trot a worrying stat could well sucked into the relegation mire.

The Peacock the best pub in Sunderland in the city centre close to the Botanist  pub the Fire Station music venue the Holiday Inn Travelodge and Premier Inn.

About a 15 minute walk to the stadium away fans regularly drink in there.
