Batth and Pritchard missing on St Stephen's Day

Typical two of our best players this season.

Strong rumours that Sunderland are going to go with two up top with Stewart and Simms this afternoon.

12:30 ko on sky.

Sounds like there's going to be 44,000 there today.

I thought it might!

I've spoken to many Lancashire fans over the years egs Preston Bolton Blackpool and they're no time for Blackburn some saying that the buying of the EPL under Jack Walker was a factor.

Obviously I know why the Clarets don't like them!

Big smile

Looks like Trai Hume could well be in the starting line up tonight.

It's one crazy league...team in the playoffs have 36 points from 75. A Wearside Teeside playoff final would be great fun especially considering 2 managers backgrounds.

Sure it's the craziest league in Europe/World any team can beat any other.

Though I think Wigan will go down.

Put my neck on the block and say West Brom will go up this season , maybe the play offs .

That's how this league is .

Big blow Ellis Simms going back to Everton.

I hope Harvey/Speakman have another forward lined up.

Let's hope Ross Stewart accepts the offer Sunderland have offered him as I can't imagine they'll increase it.

Classic game of two halfves Blackpool better first half Sunderland better in the second.

If Stewart goes it will be a huge blow he's a class act.

Money will talk as always. PL clubs are interested in Stewart ( Crystal Palace, Brentford ) as well as Rangers, Stoke, Middlesbrough and others. His agent will get the best deal for him though I believe Sunderland have an option on him for another year so may keep him until the summer.
