Sounds like Aiden McGeady will be in the starting line up tonight.

Mountain to climb after that tonight.

No way will we score three on Saturday and keep a clean sheet.

Another depressing night.

Not impossible to claw back but very difficult. The supporters will need to make some noise at the Stadium of Light, hope for a break.

I usually try to be positive but I'd be astounded if we get through.

You heading along on Saturday DM? Big chance again messed up on Wednesday. I think getting rid of Jack Ross was a big mistake, he would have a decent championship by now.

He couldn’t do it with established premier league players in L1 so id hate to see what he’d be like with the current lot!

Need a manager who isn’t afraid to play dross dirty football because that’s what essentially the league is. The likes of Wycombe, Lincoln and Blackpool got themselves into the position by playing the most horrendous football the nation has ever seen but they’ll rough people up and play dirty for 90 minutes.

If you look at McGeady for example he plays absolute basic winger football, there’s nothing special about it, he crosses the ball and he aims it for someone’s head, none of these fancy tactics.

He’s probably played his last ever game for the club also as the club doesn’t want to pay someone £20k a week for a league 1 player who will be turning 36 next season - His 30th appearance will give him an automatic 12 month extension, currently on 29 - But now the club has to figure out how do you replace him as the last 3 spoofer managers wasted his contract down

Yea I managed to get a ticket for tomorrow.

I agree I thought SAFC were hasty to get rid of Jack Ross he has done a cracking job at Hibs.

I feel if Maguire and McGeady hadn't got injured in the latter part of the first season of Ross's tenure Sunderland would have gone up.

Here's another example of AMs commitment to the side when he played for the team despite having a broken foot.

Good luck DM. But don’t rate your chances if you’re depending on mcgeady with a broken foot,

Some collapse from Lincoln.

They've actually sh*t themselves this game, don't think they've touched the ball in the Sunderland half, hope the away dressing room has plenty of toilet paper because that's some serious sh*tting they're doing.
