Yea they were talking about it on the local radio football phone in tonight saying that the supposed £10m initially being put in by the Americans will largely be spent on the structure of the club such as the Academy scouting the stadium etc because of the Financial Fair Play rules but at least they are involved in the club now which is a positive.

Sunderland have begun negotiations over potentially signing Azerbaijan international Bahlul Mustafazade in January, according to reports in his home country.

Under 8,000 fans at The Sol today, Gillingham at home or not there's no excusing how poor the attendance was.

I suppose with how badly Sunderland have started the season and it's been very much up and down thus far under Parkinson I think a lot of fans are just getting disillusioned.

Hopefully things start to turn for the better soon!
