Good luck to Morgan. It's about time he got some first team football.

Whether he really has it in him to be a regular at a team like Celtic I don't know. He does put in the effort but he just doesn't have that wee gallus spark that Ryan Christie has which can damage other teams. Morgan I see more as being a good servant for a club like Hearts or Hibs.

Still, if John Fleck could restart his career in League One at Coventry a couple of years back then so could Morgan at Sunderland. Callum McGregor was on loan at Notts County a few years ago which was probably the making of him.

Btw so I can report back on the TAMB how are Jon McLaughlin and Dylan McGeouch getting on ?

Overall I'm happy with the business Sunderland have done in the January window providing the Will Grigg paper work went through in time.

On the face of it you've made some extremely good signings. Kezaiah Sterling's an interesting addition - he's got phenomenal pace. Morgan will do well at that level, and Grigg's a proven scorer. Jimmy Dunne looks a good player too. It could hardly have gone better.
