Jack Ross on Aiden McGeady " i thought he gave us a real spark when he came on.It was a big ask of him because he hasn't trained in four months.

At the end of the game he probably looked a bit leggy but he did spark us in that period where we scored and had other opportunties. The thing about Aiden is he does care.

I've known him for a while because of playing in Scotland and he's a character. You need characters that are vocal.
He's going to be an asset for us."

Thanks pal. One of these days we might get the four former Bhoys in the same team.

Four points off second spot and the Burton loss was our first defeat in the league this season. That said we need to sort the defence out we have been behind in six of our eight league games!!

Meh. Would be the best answer.
Team has kinda fell apart and rode on luck ever since the double demolition job at the start in August.

The general consensus is that Jack Ross is just picking 11 players with the hope they'll score 4 again without any plan or thought put into it but on the flipside people have noted he's able to turn games around but the latter shouldn't be happening if he put more work into the former.

Reports saying that Charlie Wyke has ligament damage from the Burton match and could well be out for six to eight weeks.

Dylan McGeouch could well be fit for the Rochdale game on Saturday.

First big test for Jack Ross today after the Rochdale defeat.

If both fully fit I would play Dylan Mac and Aido together with Honeyman being dropped.

Important win poor first twenty minutes but some clinical finishing and didn't give the opposition a goal start! Baldwin Catts Maguire and Gooch played well.
