Jack Ross says he is going take another look at free agent left sided Central defender Gael Andonian after he played well against West Brom U23's earlier this week.

Don't know what to think of Sunderland's start really.

On 1 hand you can say they're near the top and unbeaten but they really need to start rolling over the lesser teams in the League.
Drawing to Oxford is unacceptable, drawing to Fleetwood is okay as they've probably got the best attacking pair in the league and Barton has made a very good start to Management life. They'll be sniffing among the playoff spots in April.

The club's working on about £10 million overbudget because of the inability to rid of the high earners are still on £40,000+ which has already been said means that there's nothing happening in January

We'll find out if Jack Ross is actually a good Manager in December when the suspensions, injuries and the matches all come fast

Sunderland are going a goal down far too many times and we look vulnerable at the back too often.

That said good to see big Jon save a peno the first penalty saved at the SOL by a Sunderland keeper other than in penalty shoot outs.

Fleetwood were the better side in the first half and could have scored three goals  but we had plenty of chances in the second half.

I'd say overall a draw was a fair result.

Papy Djilobodji and Didier Ndong are both supposed to be on £40,000 a week and both of them refused to come back to train at SAFC!!

Sunderland are trying the legal route to ged rid of them.

Not sure if Lee Cattermole is on that much but he will be on a good wedge.

Catts had an outstanding match yesterday though.

Sunderland have sacked Papy Djilobodji after going AWOL and "comprehensively failing a fitness test." Thank the feck for that now for Ndong.
