I was amazed when Grayson took it, I would be absolutely flabbergasted if Giggs did. Why on earth would a young manager take a chance at a club where everything is set up to annihilate his reputation?
The job is best suited to someone with nothing to lose who is trying to revive his career.

Karanka still lives in the North East and supposedly the club has been in contact, what I would give to see him get the job. A man who had Boro very well disciplined and organized defensively.

Scoring goals isn't the problem for Sunderland for once, so at least whoever comes in need not worry!

Really can't see this happening too risky (even for Sunderland) and he has absolutely no experience at this level.

You lads are surpassing yourselves with the random made up stories.

We've had 4 names in less than 24 hours. I'd hate to see how many after a fortnight.

SSN must be making the names up too. Apparently Grayson had to be escorted to his car after Bain had given him news of his sacking!

It a bit rich from you saying on this thread that its twenty miles between South Shields and Sunderland when it is in fact depending upon which part of the city of Sunderland you are in its eight miles! Big smile
