Throwing away a 3 1 lead is simply not good enough.

I would imagine the fact that the club would have to pay off his contract is the only thing keeping Grayson in a job.

Still think Sunderland will be ok. Currently in relegation zone but expect them pull clear over the course of the season

I only wish I could share your optimism.

Perhaps you should give Grayson some tips on his team talks.

Would be criminal of the board if they dropped into the 3rd tier. They have the stadium, the fan base etc. Shouldn’t be struggling like they are. Something must be sadly amiss behind the scenes

Our debt stood at £137m in the Summer and our owner Ellis Short wants to sell the club the trouble is the lower we go the less he will get for the club.
Dire days.

Not quite sure i am buying the too good to go down stuff nor are most suffering fans like Double Maxim  who have to go through watching them regularly.

There are some decent players at the club but they have been absolutely rotten so far this season. Not sure Grayson is the man to turn it around. It is a thankless job given how bloated the squad is.

Exactly right dave and to throw away a two goal lead is not a good sign FFS.

The fecking irony that kernt Bain on a massive salary and he's sanctioning the job cuts at the club.

Ellis Short is leaving London to move back to the USA but Sunderland chief executive Martin Bain insists the Black Cats’ billionaire owner is not ‘disengaged’ from the situation on Wearside.

Short’s home in Chelsea is on the market for £49.5m as he relocates to Florida, where his tennis prodigy son has taken up a scholarship at an academy run by the legendary ladies’ champion of the 1970s and 1980s, Chris Evert.
