Cautiously optimistic about Patrick, he has genuine ability but his career has stagnated since his outstanding first spell at Celtic, I'd love to see him get back to his best and smash Div 1 ! (a bit like Pritchard is doing at present and Broadhead had been doing) Hopefully yer man could be a very good signing.

Good to see young Irish player Caden Kelly scoring for Sunderland U23s in a 3 3 draw with their Leeds counterparts last night. SAFC came back from being 3 0 down.

Typical to concede like that right at the end when it looked like we were on our way to getting all three points, it's so frustrating we couldn't hold on, Taking the positives we're still unbeaten in quite a few games now and it was a very good performance by the lads, Ross Stewart a class above, Also wishing Corry Evans all the best let's hope he will be ok

Gut wrenching result the way it happened I feared the worst when the commentator said Stewart had got the winner with SEVEN minutes left. I agree we've got to think about the positives as we're playing well. Typical of our luck the Evans injury when he was playing so well.

Caden Kelly had a brilliant game as part of a Sunderland U23s side who beat Reading U23s 2 0 this evening.

Sunderland are eyeing up another potential raid on the Irish League with promising Coleraine teenager Patrick Kelly the latest player to come onto the League One club’s radar.

Good lad from a good Portstewart family. Shouldn't be too difficult to find out if there is any truth in this. Would love to see it happen

What a shambles of a performance that was tonight. Sunderland got what they deserved. Difficult to pick out any positives from that embarrassing display I suppose if I'm clutching at straws Callum Doyle not getting sent off was a small crumb of comfort. The Patrick Roberts signing can't come quick enough.

I was wondering about McGeady hadn't seen his name in team sheets. How's he done DM since before his injury?

Hasn't played as well as previously but I still think there's a role for him possibly as an impact sub.
