Was speaking to a Gillingham fan last week, and he said that Egan is an outstanding player. Lacked a bit of pace but very mature and a natural defender. I hope he goes straight into the team at Brentford, because they have a real good chance of going up.

Egan has a big future ahead of him has dealt with the setback of being released by Sunderland at an early age well and has shown to be a valued member of any team the way he's played since was highly regarded at Gillingham also has a knack for scoring goals scored a few screamers last season for the Gills

Zanetti was quoted on ESPN Argentina as saying he has very similar attributes to Mascherano

Brentford have made some very good signings, Bentley arrived from Southend this week also the stand out goalkeeper in L1. If Hogan can stay fit, they've a real chance of promotion they'll be right in the mix. Sawyers, Bentley, Egan wil be experiencing their first season in the Championship, big step up.

I really like the look of this lad. Take a look at the highlights from the villa game. His positioning is excellent throughout and he creates his opportunity for the goal with a solid first touch in a tight spot. Definitely a player that should get a chance this season.

Think this fella is very unlucky not to make the Ireland squad.
Been in great form lately but people like McShane get chosen ahead of him
