1 year ago Shane was the best thing since sliced bread, 6 months ago he was sh*t, 2 months ago he was getting back to his best, and now he's sh*t again. It's almost comedic, some amount of clowns on here

It was the assistant he was having a go at, not Puel. Puel was pissed off too though, although it seems he was annoyed at having to waste a substitution unnecessarily. It was simply miscommunication between Long and the assistant; it's nothing to worry about in the longer term.

By all accounts he ripped it up today, though made some poor decisions in the box. Set up the first goal, won the peno, and clipped the bar when taking it. Anyone can miss a peno.
Good to see him get a start and almost a full match. I wouldn't be too down on him.

He seemed to play very well despite the missed penalty alright. In saying that I'd be surprised if he is still at Southampton next season.
