surely deserves a look at for a squad given our lack of options up front?

O'Neill probably hasn't realised that Adam Rooney is now playing in the national league so Rooney is probably still ahead of Sheridan.

He deserves a shot in a friendly. Baffled that O'Neill hasmt called him up yet considering he is 6'4 and would suit O'Neills hoof ball tactics.

Maybe though 7 goals last season and 8 the season before isnt exactly setting the world alight. Where would you rate the Polish league, perhaps lower end of the championship

He only joined Jagiellonia for the 2nd half of the season in his first year, so 8 goals was impressive. Last season was less successful but his goals-to-minutes ratio was still ok. He's deserved at least a call up over the last few years.

It is hard to compare across leagues but I would see the Polish league as in and around the standard of Scotland. I would think that he has deserved to at least have been watched by someone in the FAI and probably to have been looked at in a friendly, especially as we could do with his type of player.

Scored a fine goal last week against a team who finished 4th in the Portugese league, most certainly not miles out of his depth.
I remember when he played in the Nou Camp a few year ago and thinking he would deffo do a job for us, his hold up play and link up play with midfield was exactly what we needed at the time and unfortunatley hes never been looked at since.

No way should he be just written off. If the Polish League is a high enough standard for the Polish national team, then it should be a high enough standard for us.

He may well be, but so our most of our other striking options! We hardly have any options at all, which is why he can't be ruled out.

don't think he'll ever be close to first choice but if you look at some of the names that have gotten into o'neill's extremely large provisional squads in recent years it'd be fair to say hes at least equal to some of those names for sure. mcgoldrick for example got 3 caps in 2016 and another in 2017, hadn't exactly been tearing up trees in the championship

6'5'' and has played around Europe. He would 100% be in the squad if he was playing for some Championship side. Given our total lack of resources, especially up front, the man deserves a chance, especially as we're only going to be seeing route one football under MON. Seems like a smart fellow too, unusual for a footballer.
Does MON even know he exists? Should we hold up a banner explaining who he is at our next home game?
