Why whats that going to bring?

New squad and new management. Barring relegation, it can't be much worse than what is currently happening.

Kavanagh and Rainsford released. The squad is beginning to approach a sensible size at least.

McLoughlin's move to Hull has been confirmed for an undisclosed fee, although I'd be surprised if we got over 100k for him, given that he was out of contract at the end of the season. Some move for a fella who was playing in the MSL just over 2 years ago, with the added bonus of a degree in his back pocket.

Strong rumours that Neall Fenn is to be our next manager assisted by Danny Murphy.

Fenn would be a good choice, hopefully bring a few forwards into the club.We badly need a good winger.

Because loyalty is so prominent in football these days, ffs if I was offered a better job in the morning I'd jump ship too.

Not arguing that but surely he should stick with Longford till seasons end? Cork won’t need him till next season will they? Is cotter even gone yet? Leaves just before their cup game v us and a tricky div 1 run in,bit sh*tty really.

Yes it's very tough on Longford, think we wanted him in now so he can get his business done early with assembling a squad for next season. Gives him time to assess the players we have as very few are contracted for next season.
