I come across as a wum when i say this but I'm being 100% serious. I'd feel far safer at night with 3 young kids and a wife knowing I've an armed weapon beside me.

Dead right. Best thing to do is teach your kids from a very young age to shoot on sight and let them sleep with a gun under their pillow.
